About Bythron

Rwanda's trusted name in GPS tracking and location intelligence.

We started Bythron because Rwandan businesses deserved tracking technology built for their reality — not a repackaged international product with foreign servers and slow support.

Our Story

Bythron was founded in Kigali by engineers who saw the same problem repeat across the country: vehicles disappearing without a trace, fleets bleeding fuel with no visibility, and businesses paying premium prices for foreign tracking platforms that were slow, unreliable, and impossible to get support from. We set out to build something different — a GPS tracking platform designed, hosted, and supported entirely within Rwanda.

Today, Track IQ powers tracking for logistics companies, schools, NGOs, government fleets, and individual vehicle owners across the country — with devices that keep recording even where the network doesn't reach, and a support team that answers the phone in Kinyarwanda, English, or French.

Our Mission

To make professional GPS tracking affordable, reliable, and accessible to every business and individual across Rwanda and East Africa.

Our Vision

A future where every vehicle, asset, and living thing that matters to an African business or family can be protected with world-class location intelligence.

Our Approach

Local infrastructure, rugged hardware, and a support team that treats every customer relationship as long-term, not transactional.

What We Believe

The values behind every decision we make.

Local First

Built in Rwanda, for Rwanda and East Africa — our infrastructure, support, and pricing reflect the market we serve.

Reliability Over Hype

We engineer for the conditions our customers actually operate in, including weak connectivity and rugged terrain.

Radical Transparency

Customers own their data and can export it at any time. No lock-in, no hidden fees.

Customer-First Support

Every customer gets a local, responsive support team — not a call center overseas.

Trust & Security

Your data, protected like it's ours.

Every Track IQ deployment is built on infrastructure and practices designed for enterprise, government, and NGO-grade trust.

Servers Hosted in Rwanda

Every byte of customer data lives on infrastructure physically located inside Rwanda — full data sovereignty, no cross-border transfer.

End-to-End Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard AES-256 and TLS 1.3.

Role-Based Access Control

Grant precisely the access each team member needs — viewer, dispatcher, manager, or admin.

Full Audit Logs

Every login, export, and configuration change is logged and reviewable by administrators.

Secure Cloud Backups

Automated, redundant backups protect against data loss with point-in-time recovery.

99.8% Uptime

Enterprise-grade infrastructure with redundant failover keeps your dashboard online when it matters most.

Looking Ahead

We're investing in AI-assisted route optimization, predictive maintenance, expanded satellite fallback for remote regions, and deeper integrations with the ERP and fuel-card systems Rwandan businesses already use — all without ever moving your data outside Rwanda.
